Her research has focused on supply chain collaboration, global integration, and the role of the third party logistics in a supply chain. She is an expert in global supply chain management, demand forecasting and planning, and customer service/service quality. Nix teaches Global Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Strategy.
“I believe in the importance of developing future supply chain leaders with integrative skills and a global perspective,” said Nix. “This is particularly important to the North Texas economy and the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, which is recognized as a supply chain hub. It’s an honor to be recognized for the work that I do along with my colleagues in the Neeley School.”
