Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences hosting research symposium April 17

Graduate and undergraduate students in the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences are invited to participate in the 5th Annual Student Research Symposium on April 17. Presentations will be based on new research findings, translational research, or research in progress. Presentations will provide new data or information pertaining to disciplines or clinical practice within the College.
During the Symposium on April 17, research will be displayed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., judging will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and an awards presentation and reception will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. The Symposium will be held in Campus Recreation’s Special Events Room.
“The Harris College Research Symposium provides students the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and self-confidence in conducting and presenting their research in a professional venue, which will increase their preparedness for graduate school and professional employment,” said Dr. Harriet Cohen, social work professor and chair of the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences Student Research Symposium.
