Eden’s Greens & Deco Deli to close for construction on Reed Hall
Fort Worth, TX
2/19/2008
Two of TCU’s eight dining facilities, Eden’s Greens and Deco Deli, will close permanently Friday, March 7, 2008, to prepare for summer construction on Dave Reed Hall. The construction is taking place over the summer to minimize disruption of classes in Reed Hall.
Because these facilities will close, TCU’s Residential Services and Sodexho have arranged for the Main dining facility to offer similar food and more seating to accommodate extra diners. The Main will offer made-to-order sandwiches for lunch and salads for dinner so patrons can continue eating the foods to which they have become accustomed.
A hot dog cart will also be added outside the library during meal times to provide hot dogs on the go as another dining option. The cart will accept cash or meal cards.
A farewell celebration of Eden’s Greens and Deco Deli is planned for March 3-7, 2008, so patrons can bid farewell to the dining facilities. The celebration will include a photo opportunity with Peter, a popular Eden’s employee, an opportunity to be a Deco lady for a day, a night of music at Eden’s, and t-shirt giveaways.
